License installation and troubleshooting
You have received by email the license key for DJ Mix Pro.
The license was attached to the email titled 'Here is final DJ Mix Pro'. You must enter the license key in the program to unlock it and let you access to all the functionalities.
Once you have entered the license key, you don't have to enter it again until you overwrite the program (by installing an update for example).
To enter the license key in the product, use one of the following methods :
Method 1 : by drag and drop from windows explorer
Drag and Drop means click and leave the left mouse button pushed down on the source file ( the license file that you saved to the harddrive), then move the mouse to the target window while still holding down the left mouse button, then release the left mouse button
- Save your email attachment to the hard drive, for example to c:\\lic.txt.
- Open a windows explorer (Windows key+E).
- In DJMixPro, open the "enter license" window (from the help menu).
- In windows explorer, drag the lic.txt file.
- Drop it in the "enter license" window.
Method 2 : by copy and paste from wordpad or notepad

Open your email attachment, using notepad or wordpad .
- Select everything (control+A), copy it to the Windows clipboard( using Control+C or the copy item in the edit menu , or the copy item in the popup menu from right click).
- Open the "enter license..." dialog (from the help menu).
- Paste the license (using Control+V, or by hitting the past item in the right click popup menu).
- After pasting, hit OK.
How to check that the license was entered properly ?
If menu item "enter license" has disappeared, license installation is complete.
If you don't see the "enter license..." item in the help menu, it just means the product already has a valid license.
If you're still reading this, it just means something went wrong (the item "enter license" didn't disappear). Let us analyse it.
Using either method above always works best than just typing the license text, just because there are less chances to transform the license text using these methods.
More troubleshooting
Please check the following points :
License key is a 8 linestext of this format :
#DJ Mix Pro license file(+cariage return)
#Do not redistribute(+cariage return)
PRODUCT=(product name+cariage return)
OWNER=(licensee name+cariage return)
EXPIRATION=(expiration date+cariage return)
OWNERINFO1=(address+cariage return)
OWNERINFO2=(email address+cariage return)
SIGNATURE=(80 characters+cariage return)
If you see the license okay, copy and paste it, but still the program refuses the license key (enter license doesnt disappear), there must be something invisible wrong.
· Some mailer programs just add extra spaces on every line. Remove the extra spaces at end of each line.
· Some mailer programs add extra html tags around the email address. Remove the garbage to have exactly OWNERINFO2=(email address+cariage return).
· Some programs split long SIGNATURE lines. Join manually the split line.
If you succeeded to fix the license, save the notepad in a .txt file as your new license reference.
Now if none of the above methods work, just email to licenses at djmixpro.com, subject : license key trouble. Please attach the license text you think is right to this email for us to analyse and we'll handle the problem with you (it might take several days to answer, sorry).
